Anyone who shaves her head at a tatoo parlor (?) obviously has issues. What is strange is that Rob Lowe can have sex with a 16 year old girl, and years later, be on a major TV show, yet Spears will, I think, never get over the head shaving and the MTV performance. Do drugs, sleep with underage girls (R Kelley?) no one cares. (or...they even cheer you on. Rob Lowe said he had a lot of guys tell him to 'keep his chin up' after his fiaso...also think of Robert Downey Jr...) Shave your head, gain a little weight, and you are the laughing stock (shows weakness?). Paris Hilton mocks everyone, and people love her (shows strength?). I don't think she is even really overweight, but obviously compared to how she used to look... feel sorry for her, or do you think she deserves ridicule? Hmm, why did you post it here? Didnt we already have a topic about her in general forums? QUOTE feel sorry for her, or do you think she deserves ridicule? Well this question can not be answered easily since we all dont know what happens behind the scenes of the brand Britney Spears. Is she really as stupid/brainless as it seems from her appearance in the medias? Is she able to realize/reflect the public opinion and therefore the fact that her fame/fortune has faded and that everything she does atm doesnt help her getting back to former success? I dont know her personally, I dont know how much of the brand Britney Spears is really part of her character, I dont know how good/bad the people in her environment are and how big their impact on the person B.S. is. Culprit or victim? Who am I to judge someone just by basing my opinion on the yellow press? Of course it looks like she has totally messed up her life and therefore she is most likely both at the same time: culprit and victim. But that´s her problem and her problem alone. The philanthropist in me just hopes that she is able to find herself anytime soon, that she is able to focus on the right priorities in life and that she doesnt hurt herself and her kid/s direly. |
