I agree wood is important, but I feel gold is far more important. |

Normally I'd say food, but I find myself needing to source wood more than anything especially during Age 2. i find having an adequate wood supply is key as it allows you to boom. Plus, it can help gather food by creating fishing ships. It all would depend on the type of map you're playing, but for me, I'd say wood. |

Gold is easier to deny, but wood is vital early in this game cause the buildings are pretty damn expensive, and age ups costs wood now. |

Its a split between wood/gold for me :/ Wood is sooo important for everything, but without gold, you have 0 military. |

Wood and gold. Food is really easy to come by, and you can survive with wood/gold units. |
