StagesA. Group Stage I
The tournament will begin with the division of the 130 accepted applicants into 26 groups that will consist of 5 players apiece. Each player will play the other members of their group once in a round robin format. This means that each player will play 4 games at this stage. Players will get 3 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. The top two seeds of each of the 26 groups will advance to the bracket stage whereby 64 players will be left standing.
B. Bracket Stage I
These 64 competitors will then form a single elimination bracket. This stage will consist of a best-of-3 64-player round. 32 players will advance to Bracket Stage II.
C. Bracket Stage II
This will be followed by 8 best-of-5 single elimination matches between the 8 pairs of players (32 players) that will be remaining. 16 players will advance to the Bracket Stage III.
D. Bracket Stage III
Round of 16; this stage includes 8 pairs of players in a best-of-5 series. The remaining 8 players will advance to the Quarter Finals or round of 8.
E. Quarter Finals Stage
The Quarter-Finals will consist of 4 best-of-7 single elimination quarter-final matches between the 4 remaining pairs of players (8 players). 4 people will advance.
F. Semi-Finals Stage
There will be 4 semi-final matches, these will be a best-of-9 series. The 2 outstanding players will advance to the final stage. The two players seeded out this stage will proceed in the 3rd place bracket; rules from Semi-Finals apply.
G. Final Stage
The final stage will consist of a best-of-11 series between the 2 remaining players.

Game PlayA. Every participant must respect their opponent and authorized casters of this event. Bad behavior (determined by staff) will result in a warning and may lead to an immediate disqualification of a player. This tournament values not only great skills, but also sportsmanship and fairness. Any insult, racism or flaming will not be tolerated.
B. It is compulsory for all tournament matches to be
rated and
recorded, should section 4. be in effect games will not be rated.
C. It is obligatory for the victors of each match to post all recorded games from this event in the appropriate section of the PK forum. It is required that the members of the Japanese community to also post recorded games of their event matches at
JP Community.
G. A player may restart a match if he deems appropriate within (2) minutes of game-play. A maximum of once per match, per player on any occasion. Players have 2 restarts available each stage: Group Stage, Bracket Stage I, Bracket Stage II, Bracket Stage III, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final games.
H. In the event of a dispute or a level of deliberation that is determined by the tournament staff to be excessively indecisive, players may be forced into using the random civilization generator. This proceeding is not preferred. Should this proceeding go through, record will be kept on the (Two) players in dispute for the following matches and through the event.
I. During the Quarter Final, Semi-Final and Final stages, players are not permitted to leave the series early or to exit any game in the series Prematurely. It is therefore obligatory to finish the entire series to qualify for the tournament's monetary prizes.
J. All participants are responsible to read the rules and updates as the event progresses. Tournament staff reserve the right to update, edit, add rules at anytime during or before the event where necessary.
4.
Civilization RestrictionsA. Players are not permitted to play the winning civilization twice in a row in the following match of the same series.
B. At any time should a player win twice in a row; he may not use any expansion civilization in the following match of the same series.
C. Rules 4.A and 4.B do not take effect at any time for the 7 Euro Civilizations. British, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russia, Dutch.
5.
DisconnectionA. If a disconnection occurs before (2)minutes of any match a player restart upon agreement. After two (2) minutes of a match, the player who disconnects may resign or request a review by the tournament staff. Who may then award the match or authorize a restart.
B. If a player repeatedly disconnects from games, a record will be kept on these participants. The tournament staff may also warn or disqualify the player in question from the event.
C. At any time should a game disconnect or a restart is needed, the restart match must be played by the same civilizations; unless both players agree to change.
6.
StreamingA. At the beginning of each stage of the event the tournament staff will select matches to highlight for the purpose of casting, this will then be posted in the 覇王の咆哮 TAD Tournament I Information dedicated forum. It is every players responsibility to check if there match is highlighted.
B. If a highlighted match is not streamed; the completed match will deem invalid, no points will be awarded. Unless specified by a member of the tournament staff.
C. Only the fan patch custom maps will be used in the case of any highlighted stream.
D. Only casters that have been authorized by the tournament staff per Section 4.5 will be permitted to cast matches.
E. Any stream available in English must be available in Japanese if requested, by an authorized caster or tournament staff.
F. The players in these matches will be required to schedule their matches with their opponents and with the authorized casters.
G. All streamed games must have a time delay of 2 minutes, unless otherwise specified from a member of the staff.
H. If a highlighted match cannot be casted due to in game delay issues after correct measures, the staff reserves the right to have the match rescheduled within the deadline of that stage of the tournament. The tournament staff reserves the right to extend the deadline of the match if deemed appropriate.
I. If an issue occurs with regard to multiple casters, we require that at least one caster be able to cast the match in question. Under no circumstances should a highlighted match not be casted.

SchedulingA. Posts in the dedicated scheduling forums will be the only reference point. Screen shots and messages elsewhere eg.(Email, ESO, Skype,) ect will not be valid.
B. Participants or authorized casters of the tournament may request a "No Show" in the scheduling topic after waiting 20 minutes of the agreed scheduled time. Through a valid "No Show" claim the tournament staff reserves the right to issue a warning or direct disqualification of the player or caster. An admin win will then be awarded to the participant.
C. If a player has not played the matches allocated to them and fails to schedule with his opponent as per section 8.A. The participant in question will be issued an admin loss at the end of the stage.9. DisqualificationsA. If you suspect your opponent has some sort of unfair external advantage or has done a modification to their game to input/enhance ( cheats, hacks, map visibility, trainers, abuse of bugs etc.), finish the game and submit it for review with an explanation of why you think the game was unfair. If the tournament staff members find someone to be guilty of cheating, the cheater will be disqualified from the tournament. Building rotator modification is allowed.
B. In the event a player uses the explorer revival exploit, the participant will be given a warning or/ direct disqualification.
C. The registered account name must be the main account of its owner for proper seeding. Only the sole owner of that registered account name is permitted to use the account to complete tournament matches. The tournament staff reserves the right to issue a warning or immediately disqualify players who tamper with this decree and the right to force the undeviating removal of these players from all associated websites.
D. Should A player/participant be deemed uncooperative in this event by the tournament staff, he will be issued a warning or direct disqualification.
10.
Commencement DatesA. The tournament staff would like to start the tournament on October 10, 2013.
B. Players will have 10 days to schedule during group stage.
C. In all bracket stages, participants will have 7 days to schedule.
11.
PrizesAt the conclusion of the tournament, the pot will be divided between the following individuals:
A)60% 1st Place
B)20% 2nd Place
C)8% 3rd Place
D)4% 4th Place
E)2% 5th-8th Place
