How can a deactive mod cause out of sync? Buggy Voobly client? Why don't you report it? |

It's because the mod was badly done and AoM has some files that can generate others, and that's what happened - so when the mod is deactivated, it properly deapplies its own files, but doesn't know about the new, external one, which is left in place and causes the problem. This is also why with UIs you need to run Vanilla first and only after Titans for it to work on both versions. Which is why there are random problems cropping up all the time with people's games, often caused exactly by some faulty mod. And why clean reinstalls (back-up saves/recs/maps/scenarios, uninstall, game folder delete, re-install) usually help. |

QUOTE([DoD) Hellsravage,Apr 11 2021, 03:44 AM] I noticed a relic I had never seen before in a game. I think it was the siege ship bonus one. Then you've got the bad file, and need to delete as Ippert explains above. |
