Play on voobly megarandom where water and low hunt maps are a bit more common (albeit still uncommon compared to high hunt ones). This post has been edited by Jo.G: Aug 21 2022, 12:10 PM |

And another point, make spiders kill vills too. It would be beautiful to see them casted at gold mines. Why dont they? do vills have an special armoury elephants units dont have? =/ total nonsense. |

QUOTE(ProudyProudfoot @ Jun 23 2022, 06:39 AM) If the intention of the makers of the game was for someone to be able to build over them to destroy them then they wouldn't have made them so they stay above the surface for a number of seconds where they're super vulnerable and easy to kill. On the contrary, it was made this way so the opponent has a chance to see where the eggs are placed and either kill the or play around them. If they would spawn in their hatched state it would be a pretty annoying to play against. Building on top of it might be a bit abusive but not being able to build on top of them will telegraph their placement as well. They should just remain present under the building in case it ever gets destroyed imho. I've always liked the idea of making the eggs much stronger or maybe even invulnerable during the hatching phase. This way the opponent can still see where they are placed but can't pick them off so easily. |

QUOTE(ProudyProudfoot @ Aug 19 2022, 03:16 AM) QUOTE(KoN_Meathook @ Aug 10 2022, 01:42 AM) If you insist on casting it in his LOS then you have yourself to thank. Go sneaky or use it defensively. To call it cheating.... I call it clever play. Kudos to your enemy for understanding where you cast it and smack on the wrist to you for thinking there should be no counter to this otherwise great god power. You can't just pick and choose what is okay and what isn't when it is the exact same mechanic. You mistake me for someone else. I most definitely can. It's clear that building over dead animals was made possible so that a set player cant just run into your base and make it useless by deleting his animals everywhere. Mirez said that the carcass/spiders should still be there should you manage to destroy the building or delete it, of course this makes sense. However, I do believe that the comparison between spiders and hunt delete is not a very good one. This is mainly due to the fact that you choose yourself where to place the spiders. If you wish to use them offensively in full LOS but fail to defend the position then it's fair that you lose the value from it. I understand your point of view but it sounds like you wish for a 'I do this and you can't do anything about it' scenario. The game doesn't need to be completely noob-safe, even though the maps are predictable & safe and autoque makes it accessible to the lowest of beings. It's okey that your poopie is vulnerable and killable as long as you have the chance to prevent it - which is not at all the case with hunt delete. |
