My monitor will randomly go into sleep mode after the comp has been on for a while (1-2 hours). I was in the middle of an LoL game yesterday and it went into sleep, and did it again today during another LoL game. I've reconnected all the cables that connect my monitor to the pc.
Just updated drivers.

Are you connecting your modem to a surge protector or something with many other electronics connected to it? if so, try connecting your monitor directly to an outlet. let us know how it goes.

When my laptop overheats it'll turn off. I think his problem may be just the monitor.

If the fan is totally broken then yes. You could try going into your BIOS and setting everything to default in the off chance that the fan speed got set to 0% somehow.

Open it up and clean the dust and filth out carefully but thoroughly. Including the the filth in your fans.

Did you try turning up the fan speed? I wouldn't play any games until you get the heat down man. It's a matter of time until it blows at that temp.

Download RivaTuner and set it to like 80% fan speed. Then if it's still too hot keep adjusting it higher.

are you sure your screen is turned on?

lol jk

dont insist on using ur computer if you peak at 90'c its time for a replacement or handy-man-maintenance. make sure your computer case has plenty of ventilation and that all fans are pushing out the hot air. tidy up all cables inside ur case and set fans on max just like mentioned above.

also worth monitoring temp when both the case panels are on and off.

what gpu do u have btw?

i once had a celeron d processor get to 95degress celcius before, the thermalpaste had dried up and gone and the stock intel fan did a bloody poopiee job at removing heat.
