Could anyone help with this? it is very frustrating, probably my weakest thing, whenever I face a zerg, they always go Mutalisk, and raid my base, since I have my army at my natural expansion, and that mutas r so fast, It's impossible to catch them, so they come into my home base and get so many scv kills, then when my marines or stalkers get there, they're vanished by then, even when I build turrets, they manage to destroy it! It is so frustrating, what can I do in this position? |

Marines rape mutas hard. But first and foremost try to scout if they're going mutas. If they do, make turrets. If they do a standard muta timing then you should already have a few turrets up - you'll learn that timing eventually. Also, a single thor stops most muta harrassment (and obviously full mech beats mutas even harder). If they go mass mass muta, then make more turrets and go attack. Protoss is a bit tougher since they don't have a great viable counter for them. Try going storm asap or blink stalkers, those are the only real ways of dealing with mass muta. I see, but often, if SCV's are not around the turrets, they will get destroyed by mutas fairly quickly, and once he does that, and sees that i have a turret in my mineral line with scv's,, he just goes for the buildings, and my units don't get there in time to do damage or anything, It sucks D: |

You could try to kill them before they can mass enough mutas or.. As Protoss the new phoenix upgrade is "supposed" to deal with mass muta.. blinks always helpful and a templar at each mineral line could be good if you can manage it all. As Terran a Thor is always good, turrets.. or try to drop Zerg if you can so that he can't harass you cause he needs to use the mutalisk to kill medivacs. Similarly to templar, I guess you could leave a thor at each base with the turrets. Sorry if this doesn't help you at all :| |

what point are you losing to mutas? they need to be a ball of 10 to 1shot workers (9 with +1 dmg but that's negleted by +1 armor etc...) |
