Congratulations guys. As a side note is there any reason why we shouldn't make a team game only patch? Or is it just too complicated?

IIRC both of these are unfixable.

It was a lengthy and deliberative process, and I am quite happy with the result. Nobody got exactly what they want, which usually means it was a good compromise at the end of the day.

Good luck playing :)

My prediction: Isis and Set will be quite strong this patch with aggressive play. Oranos will still be top tier Greek won't change that much, and Thor will be roughly as strong as Odin is now.

A deception, but well nothing expected for there wasnt never a real conversation with community.

RAs trying not to loose their god with useless changes. You look to who makes the patch and you understand easily the patch.

Cronos has been nerfed, thanks for my part. Now Cronos has no heroic god to use and has siphons nerfed. Obviously Cronos was a really strong god, everybody plays him. If you played him you would know its impossible to win in 175+ ra-set.

The 0 map patch should be called.

Gl and lets hope steam gets a better evolution than voobly you have put it easy.


Good bye for a while and forever from this forum for it has no utility.

The future is clear this wont go better with this patch.

No nerf for Zeus on Mediterranean
Isis now buffed on Anatolia

One question, why did the range of trireme not get touched? I know it was discussed, just want something to say when I review the patch notes instead of idk why it wasn't.

I didnt have espectations about patch, since You ignored community and You did than you wanted. However, only these changes are worth: nerfing roc, seminerfed merc, and gaia heroes. That nerfed roc will help to reduce a bit some eggy abuses; merc nerf is little, but not enougt, since infantryman merc is still strong. Cheaper heroes is the Unique and the Best change of all.

Returning a/e power is situational change: if you had buffed atties, removed trash changes and did greek ship balance, would have been great this buff. In this case is Bad change, since other civs (atties at first place) are nerfed and weaker for prevent sp rush and another imba strats. The same case for heroic greek hero.

The other changes are trash and useless. Nobody cares if lampades can convert pegasus or snakes. Eggy fake nerfs are more trash and sucks.you are just buffing set, joes Main god, and keeping eggy- greek meta. Norses Will still op vs atty, ando sucker vs eggy-greek.

About oranos didnt change nothing of his troubles, and kronos become the worst god. Anyways, since im retired, i dunno is someday i'll test the patch... I don't have anymore to Say. I did before in many topics, but dod kingdom just cares for joes gods

The garrison distance for Atlanteans is the same as for all other civilizations. It appears to be bigger because of the model sizes and how they interact with each other.

Thanks to everyone in the patch team for your hard work.


I do think Kronos has been hit unfortunately hard, which should be addressed at some point in the future.


One other point I want to mention is that the change to the cost of Heracles and Achilles, imo, makes the Loki vs Zeus/Hades matchup significantly harder for Loki on most maps. It is now much easier to survive Loki's mass battle boar heroic attack while still getting a good mythic age time. This makes me somewhat less inclined to play Loki, a god that doesn't see much play in 1v1 anyway.



However, to all those complaining - let's see what happens as games start getting played on the patch. Not all balance-related changes have 100% predictable consequences. Part of the fun of this is working out the unexpected ramifications, and we can't give a fair verdict on the changes until we see the results in practice.

I do feel like kronos has been left out here - indirectly nerfed hard first by the targeted changes made to oranos (Chaos/Satyr/Siphon) and then again once more by buffs to the other civs.

Alright then. It's only missing -1 trireme range and 50% 1 gold mine Anatolia.

Greeks need it and eggy too, especially now that Isis has been buffed.

I saw some ppl complaining about oranos but doesnt make any sense, this patch oranos will still be top tier with Ra, the nerfs doesnt change so much, hyperion is still usefull, Just not ridiculous op how it was before, fire siphon is needed a nerf, it should also be less tanky. Now isis will be very strong god again, greeks didnt change anything, as i already said, had to allow bolt kill roc and centaurs need buff, 2 shots 1 kill, i agree so much with tom_r1ddle, Ra closely to untouched and greeks the same thing. What i think gonna happen: Oranos, Ra and Isis gonna dominate Every tourney.
