this is the reason why I consider Oranos the strongest civ, it's primarily due to the economy. I advanced faster, made more army took tc slower and had less hunt but I still got mythic and titan faster than him with more upgrades and better army Attached File(s)

Agreed, atty eco is so strong early on, and hard to harass as well. They are so strong early on in the game so it is pretty much only about surviving, and then they still outboom you easily if you go for eco. |

Which makes the natural counter to oranos, walls, super efficient booming and taking advantage of quality units over quantity. Which is pretty much a suckish way to play. You have to outplay oranos to beat him but I think many civs have the opportunity to do so on patch 1.02 . |

As you kind of eluded to, the real gathering rate of Atlanteans is higher earlier due to walking. However, I always found the most frustrating thing facing Atlanteans is how impossible it is to raid a good atty. Villagers have high HP and well placed manors do work, making it really difficult to win with raiding civs |

I think he was too confidence after winning the early flight .. or maybe he saw you have a prefect back gold mine so thought that 3tc boom is a good idea. His game plan was so bad here. I actually think Atlanteans villagers are easier to raid... my favorites civ to raid in tg. they are slower and 3 in 1 unit, so if you catch them is hard for them to run away. also you could keep sending 2 or 3units to annoy them , since is hard for them to kill your units.
