Nice that they also reset the ladder.

The ladder at low elo on EE actually very active with lots of players and all my 3 matches were almost no search time.

This patch was a real hardcore nerf to Fu Xi. His early mytic power is not fine-tuned, its completely REMOVED from the game. China is back to mediocre. This balance team… Jesus.

Myrm boosts are a little suspect - but buffing hippolita is much worse. Unfortunately as I've said before oddy is so strong that he's influenced the greek meta to the point where the other age2 archers are being buffed when they shouldn't be.

Greek heroes aren't used as heroes anymore really - their primary is value engines with fast advances. Oddy has really warped peoples mindset.

Give them a little more time....

From recent topics here and recent changes its clear the balance team is engaging with the community and working to try to improve things.

Looking at the Chinese portion it looks like they are trying to slowly tune up some overnerfed/awkward things. I'd imagine if great flood proves too weak (which is probably) will, they will continue to work on it.

Don't ignore the many little chinese boosts in here - afterall, if things functioned better, Fu Xi ideally wouldn't resolve around doing that all the time anyway.

Kudos to balance team - and the cyclone cheat is hilarious.

Overall though, good patch, don't agree with everything but seems to be heading the right way. Its very nice to see people involved with the patch engaging positively - thanks guys.

@masteroffreedom Atty heroes are currently not doing the full damage vs set animals on the new patch. :whistling:

also when traitor is used on set animals, they go back to being mother nature units.

Fu Xi can gain an advantage and snowball from early game esp. vs someone at lower elo, but weaker in the late game. Nü Wa and Shennong basically disappeared from 1v1 after 2.6 already, they are kind of handicap pick.

Some units nerf could be partly reversed, also Chinese have way more unless technologies than others due to more expensive but with the same effect or even weaker too.

Example:
Feet of the Jackal - 200G 10 Favor
+25% HP, +20% attack, and +6 special attack range

Golden-banded Staff - 250W 10 Favor
+30% attack

Basically most myth units upgrade has a sum of +50% or above or cheaper, Monkey King is a copy of Anubis. Not to mentions Stone Armor when it damages upon death got nerfed so much already.

Myth units are not balanced esp. for those over-nerfed like War Salamander and Terracotta Warrior, the cost of getting favor for China already higher. Imperial Examination and Geyser still on the weak end of Heroic GP and Earth Dragon is the weakest myth age GP.

War Chariot could be a solution to China's bad late game, but right now just way too costly for Castle upgrade and only trainable from Castle at an expensive cost.

A lot of things actually are small changes, other than Scout Cavalry seems to be a unit both non-China and China players not happy about.

Other than China, I think mostly Set too strong and Thor and Kro too weak. (Not sure about Ra because it is barely picked at high level.)
