Omg cheaty mandrakes.

I think many of u watched relicwiki's dps tables. I want to talk about this one Attached Image
Not bad for cappers, isn't it? But its all a poopie, i noticed that the real damage up to 1.5x higher. There we have 18 dps agains infantry, 11 against commander, 9 vs gens. Lol it almost like asm damage values. U will ask me does relicwiki got a mistake? No, i check it with corsix mod stupio, and values for drake's knife are correct. But in the game we still have 1.5x higher dps. So i think fruiting ironlore pricks left somewhere a hidden multiplier for drakes, to make this race easy to play for DE-noobs.
And i confidently declare - all de games, played with drake's rush or active using, were about cheating. Shame for cheaters, fruit de, awe fairplay.

weird stuff ,totally agree with you. in fact Sm/Csm with STD Bo can do nothing against 2 drakes+2 warioros and archon on their base >_<

I said you yesterday that, imo, the hint is in the refire rate time which is 0.7 seconds. So, cos of this, drakes do 2x dps(2 shots) in 1.4 seconds.

Scout ure dumb, dps=damage per second=(average damage of one hit)*(accuracy)/(ur fruiting refire rate).

Tnx to Zenel, he figured, whats wrong. Drakes has damage value in ranged weapon hardbox, which works together with default cc weapon. I wouldn't call it bug, coz seems impossible to add this stuff by accident.

so what if mandrakes get infiltration from rax and are the strongest cappers in the game and have the 2nd fastest capping speed just losing to orks. Mandrakes are 150 req and u get 3 members and its 45 req to reinforce. They have 325hp each which i donono is high or low. Anyway without drakes DE harassment would be ordinary at best. I send mandrakes to harass after they cap their 2nd point (by that time 1 warrior/hellion squad is out and moving) Ok so Im not really defending my race very well here BUT my point is the entire community already hates dark eldar and we all know they are far from fair.

last time I checked raps had jump ability and could add leader and flamers. I guess damage/health in melle is all that matters, must be cheat.

Did you ever notice that 4 cults >>>> 1 servitor?? omg they just cost 5 more req! and theyre cappers that can also SHOOT!!
jokes apart, speaking about that comparison: raps have more health, get awesome ups in t2, so they scale definitely better than drakes; AND the're not meant for straight close combat, like most jump infantry units in this game - they're meant to harass, tie weaker units (esp shooting ones), etc.
Know what? Drakes are the only one CC dedicated unit a DE going HoB build has till t2.5 if we except hero (but every race has one), so could they be just like every capper ingame?


Btw, speaking about DE in general, t1 and mb t3/4 are the only tiers where they can win without too much effort.

Yes, it does.

Raps are useful for completely different reasons than mandrakes. A raps squad can last through out the game, harassing very effectively in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing. Adding a leader makes them very decent against most ranged units and are very good at tieing up squads immediately as they can fly to them. Giving speed boost is fun too.

Drakes are good at harassing or as main attack force, two. Can they be useful throughout the whole game with upgrades like infiltrate, poison swords etc? Yes. Are they going to be key in stopping ranged squads such as hb, bs, etc and keep the enemy on their feet with fast harass/retreat even in t3 and t4? Very unlikely.

Raps and drakes are quite different units. Comparing melle and hp stats does not mean drakes are a cheat.

Dude, i didn't try to argue that, ok? I agreed, raps are better for some ways. But t1 fights is very important part of game, and de can get a great advantage using op cappers for melee. Don't u use slugz by the same way? And just imagine, what if they would be 1.5x more stronger?
