Hey All, I'm playing this game again after about 5 years of not playing and trying to improve my exceptionally rusty skills (not that they were ever that good in the first place). But, a few quick Qs

1) I have AOM:EE, but I know most people (or at least most good people) play on voobly, which requires the original AOT + the fan patch. Is there a place to get it online? I know you probably can't supply a link for DMCA reasons, but does it at least exist? If it doesn't, is there a way to purchase it...legally?

2) For recorded games (which me being terrible, were always my favorite), are most games on the site played with the fan patch? And are there any recorded games played on EE that I can watch in the meantime? And if those all exist, is there an easy way to search for them/differentiate between patch/non-patch/EE?

3) Is there a good centralized thread/site detailing the current major strategies, build orders, and ups/downs of each gods that a former ~1700 now probably 1500 player could look at to get up to speed? Or, more likely, is it just scattered throughout a thousand forums and web pages. I'm aware of the general strategies and strengths of each civ 5 years ago, but I'm sure that's changed a ton esp given the fan patch. Also, god help me the only build order I can remember is the blessed 4:30 Atty classical time on high hunt.

Thanks in advance to everyone who answers questions, and I'm looking forward to having my ass handed for me on my attempts to re-learn this game

Hey and welcome amongst us! :)

1) You can buy it on Amazon and similar - looking forward to having you join us at Voobly for some fun! :)

2) Titles of the rec forums give you information on what game they are from - there are separate forums for original AoT and EE. Latest AoT recs are mostly with Voobly Balance Patch, some without - players often mention the game version, but if not, it's best to assume the latest Patch version (currently 2.0).

3) Strategy & Tactics forum is what you're looking for :) Tbh the strats haven't changed that drastically :)
