If this could be pinned in the regular discussion forum it would be really awesome! Up. |

This thread is old and this reply might not get noticed. But you mentioned an issue with .set for random maps. I assume you mean they won't transfer through AOM? I also don't think the work in the myDocs\...\rm2 directory. But besides that they work fine. |

Yeah I didn't get it to work, but it's not really an issue because I just put all the maps into one .xs file as you may have noticed. By the way, the maps are outdated, will upload the final versions (hopefully) before the end of the year. |

Map sets will work if you put them in Aom\rm2 They won't transfer in game though. (If I am remembering right) They will not work if you put them in myDocs\AOM\rm2 directory at all. Some programming screw up that never got fixed when Titans allowed local files for people with limited access. |

Some programming screw up that never got fixed when Titans allowed local files for people with limited access. With saying "I didn't get it to work" I meant that we never managed to get the game to transfer .set files correctly. I'm well aware where to place the files, but there's no point in adding a .set file if people cannot green up unless everyone installed the map set manually unless someone actually found a fix for this. I guess what I meant by using the set files is if these maps are part of the default set in the voobly patch then set files would be fine because everyone would have them. But you are right it is no big deal to just include all the scripts in one file. It's not as if the files are ever that big anyways. |
