Hello, Its been 2 weeks since the new Expert Staff guidelines have gone into effect. I am hoping this topic will serve as a periodic update to who is Expert Staff, and who is eligible to receive it at month's in. In our inaugural month, 1 member is in line to receive expert staff if they continue fulfilling the requirements over the next 2 weeks, KeeN_Magic. Edit: JSS_Elmo has fulfilled the Voobly requirements, but unfortunately has not been as active on the forums. If he was more involved, he would surely be qualified. Currently Expert Staff: Currently Meet Requirements: KeeN_Magic Currently Meet Part of Requirements: JSS_Elmo This post has been edited by [DoD]Hellsravage: Oct 14 2014, 12:28 PM |

QUOTE([DoD) I don't get it? are we desperately in need of an expert now, that anyone who fulfill a few requirements can be handed a tag. There's no need to make someone an expert when he's just an avg player in the community. If that's the case and we're in a hurry for more activity in the expert section then we should have a tournament and the winner should be given a tag. All these players are pretty much on the same level Rangers, Cryplex, Jolly, Shelty, LK, Chef, Elmo, Ert, Gang, etc(plz DO NOT include Fen in this list). imo these guys aren't experts but if giving out an expert tag brings activity then we should at least have a tournament. p.s. A tournament without experts would be pretty interesting. Edit: forgot to include J4  This post has been edited by LNC_GoldenAxe: Oct 15 2014, 05:43 AM |

I dont think these requirements are the best, because as golden axe mentioned loads of people can compete equally with elmo, I would also put titou in that list. |

i like the new format, it finally doesn't involve all the misguided opinions floating around, but just looks at performance. having said that, i don't view winning elninio over and over again as meeting the voobly requirement as specified. This post has been edited by Fen: Oct 15 2014, 05:24 AM |

Not to hate on Elmo, he's a very cool guy. But how does this match history qualify? http://www.voobly.com/profile/view/1235854.../0#pagebrowser1 |

he won 32 games in a row and played these games vs: Rayzern Elninio Ert Seattle Dudu Smoort The purpose of the new expert system is to increase the ammount of active experts, and reduce the ammount of in-active. If we follow the system correctly he should get a tag, cause he raped 6 other top20 players (with a 100% winrate!) and got 19+ rating for 2 months now. |

Elmo is the EXACT epitome of someone who deserves expert staff. The community has always been free to informally rank who is an all-time great and who is not. Expert staff rewards activity, both in the game and on the forums. As well as consistent top play. If others are said to be good enough, then let them prove it. Elmo is not competing with the ghosts of past Expert Staff. He's competing with the current players on the ladder. This post has been edited by [DoD]Hellsravage: Oct 15 2014, 11:30 AM |

And with a winrate of like 12:1 in Elmos favour.... out of hundreds and hundreds of games xD im doubting that zodiac is a real person and just a PC (AoTT super AI) that got tired of either being agressive, boomer or whatever the options are, and just abuse SS |
