(IMG:http://viper.sanctuary-network.com/natives_guide/images/banner2a.png) Forum member Peachrocks (with notable efforts from DAMNIT and myself!) has put together a comprehensive guide to the minor natives in TAD. This guide gives detailed information on each and every minor native unit, and gives comparisons to more standard units as well as detailed information on the technology available. As well as that are some basic minor native combinations with all the civilizations. The hope is that the greater peoples' understanding of the minor natives are, the more we'll see this neglected aspect of the game being utilised. You can check out the guide here. |

He made mistakes though. He said Klamath appear only on California, they also appear on NW Territories and Tupis appear on Pampas, both maps are in standard maps. This post has been edited by Terminator0: Sep 26 2008, 04:58 PM |

Indeed they have. Peachrocks only looked at it from a standard maps perspective, as that is what most people use. |

Nice job, Im just in doubt about Hussar resistance, you said it is 0.20 RR, aren't they 0.30 RR? Also I think Russia lacks pikes in Colonial so Zen would be a nice ally for Russians, Strelets/cossacks/pikes, those guys fill the lack of siege and anti-calvary. Nice job, thks for it, and your comments are very good, it is really very helpful. |

nice job. but i really missed the point of countering in the disadvantage list, since you can only make 1 unit from a TP, instead of 3 units in most barracks. besides is it worth having advanced trading post when going natives? |

QUOTE([TmC) PoWeR_BoY,Sep 29 2008, 08:20 AM]nice job. but i really missed the point of countering in the disadvantage list, since you can only make 1 unit from a TP, instead of 3 units in most barracks. besides is it worth having advanced trading post when going natives? Well yes, that is true but I do indirectly mention it by saying that hand cavalry natives are generally better for this reason. Advanced TP could be worth it for Russia or Portugal, but other civs would likely give it a miss, 3 Villagers is much superior. Thanks for all the nice comments everyone :). Very Good guide and well done. Natives are the most under used aspect of AOE 3 series. |
