hi, is it possible to add few relics for make the game more intrensting and skilled? I have few good ideas. relic for scout orcale - there is a pegasus relic so i thought why not orcale too? ofc it wont cost pop. and wil work like pegasus relic does. relic for make myth units faster. just like there is one for heroes. i think it would be very cool to see mini promothean with speed boost or cents.. but ofc even for minotaur this relic will help cause you will be able to micro better. wich gives advantage in the battle. possible add this relics in game ? jj please! the reasons are 1. make it more intrensting and fun to play. 2. more skilled, when you have more diversity it allways requir skill. 3. more fight for the relics. maybe people will finaly pick relics instead of ignore them.. |

imo remove harters foly cus that is really useless relic like +2 scout los what is that? theres a relic that give +6 los to ALL units and ppl ignore it most of the time (tho its actually not bad at all, quite nice relic) also the relic that lets your villager 1 shot animals should be replaced cus its useless on a lot of maps also staff of dionysus relic should maybe giv some other bonus than just + 20 food carry capacity, like make it +10 food carry capacity and +x% herdable gather rate so it feels less useless for atlanteans even tho its not big improvement |

Adding new relics was something I previously considered suggesting to add into the patch, but ultimately never brought it up because I didn't want to add stuff in just for the sake of adding things. It would be really easy to do, the only difficulty is that the relic info wouldn't be able to be put into each specific language, so it might be hard to explain what a relic does (outside of forum posts). It could be added into the name, like: Pygmalions Statue (Villagers stronger). As far as removing relics, also possible, but I'm pretty sure if a relic were removed, it would make any previous recorded game with it go OoS (I'd have to check for sure). |

Then you're just giving Egypt / Atlantean a boost. Most relics are actually pretty decent, some situational, some suck for the most part, and a select few are useless. |

relics shouldnt be too powerful cus its not fun if game gets decided over a relic, like i think the power level of most of the current ones are fine. like they shouldnt be more powerful than for example harmonia's necklace (+10% gold gather rate) imo that should be as powerful as they get |

Just change the 2-3 totally useless relics to something at least remotely usable imo. I dont think relics overall need to be better, especially as they really are way easier to get with some civs than with some others. One idea: Maybe change the "infantry more damage against titans" to "infantry more damage against titans and wonders" Personally, I like situational relics. I dont think every relic needs to be useful every time, but its nice if ppl actually need to think about them, to see if the game-changing relic is out there somewhere this time. For examplel, another idea: A relic that greatly increases building armor against siege ships. Usually useless, but sometimes when you have that terrible tc placement, finding it could change the whole game. |
