What kind of software would u recommend using for making VOD's? i heard different names such as movie maker/fraps/imovie but dont know which one to use.. i tried fraps.. but it was like 2gig size and my old pc crashed :/ Any advice? or tutorial :) im not technical at all with computers ^^ Btw how do you make the VOD's so small.. like 200mb ?? Well when recording the file, there isn't enough time to reduce the file size. This is done by encoding the video with a program like Windows Movie Maker after the recording to reduce the file size. :) |

You can buy a higher end program like FRAPS to do video record, but it costs money. Personally, I use Xfire for screen capture (download here) and then Windows Movie Maker to compress and add commentary (download here) Both of these are free and relatively user friends. no zuta xfire has its own decoder, which is the best for it obviously ^^ once your vof footage is .mp4 thorugh the xfire encoder, you can go ahead and add commentary |
