Major League Gaming have been selected as Blizzard's Official North American Partner for StarCraft II and the game will join MLG's Pro Circuit as a open registration title. The first live North American StarCraft II event will be held at MLG Raleigh August 27-29. The event will be a 32 player, 1v1 open registration tournament with a double-elimination format and over $5,000 in cash prizes. Players need to purchase a pass for $60 and registrations open Tuesday August 3 at 7pm ET on MLGPro.com. This tournament will be the first in a series of tournaments that culminate in the National Championship to be held in Dallas November 5-7. Full details can be found here |
