About: Hi guys, im aware that there is no vanilla casting forum so i hope you guys don't mind me plopping this in here. Just thought i'd stream the odd game or two so vanilla players can have something to watch too :). Its really nice to watch games from a players perspective instead of that stupid view lock that only even works from the uploaders perspective^^- i only wish players like flooky and sam made some so i could learn from them :D. Edit: Appears im having some technical difficulties where the livestream disconects and reconects resulting in only fragments of the game being streamed- hoping this is just my bro using youtube at the same time, fingers crossed he will be coorporative.

Just followed the link here: http://rts-sanctuary.com/index.php?portal=...howtopic=185918 Signed up and downloaded the pro caster. Idk if its laggy, i havn't tried yet. All i can say is that when i attempted streaming on xfire it was laggy (delayed unit reactions, not comp laggy) but then again that is xfire and my connection is at times very poor. |

If Xfire lags for you, then LiveStream almost certainly will. Streaming lag depends on both your comp and your internet connection. If your internet connection can't handle it, it will be very frustrating for both players involved. :P |

No. I tryed that to. In Livestream the streaming stops and you continue playing.. I am casting on the lowest settings and i have no problems. On offline games i can cast on normal quality! My internet connection realy sux so i think you got no prob to cast on Low quality:) |

Hmmm actually zuta, the really weird thing is that when i did this on xfire, it would lag for me, but only for me :P. Opponent would still get pretty much no delay on unit commands whereas i would get 2seconds delay oO. Naturally this wasn't very fair and incredibly frustrating :D. |

i dont know if this matters, but that like 90 second video wasn't lagging at all for me... would just prefer to watch a full game rather the very beginning of discovery age.. |
