Intense game, but I suspected Hells_Ravage would fail to deliver here, and it turned out I was right. I'm going to give you some pointers, Hells_Ravage, on what you should do IN THE FUTURE to avoid further outcomes like these. First of all, your God of choice was Isis. A powerful Godess, no question, but to excavate all that power you have to USE HER to your advantage. Isis can train ROLLING SIEGE TOWERS as soon as the Heroisk age. You trained three of these and rolled them into ARF_Adhafang's base, but his villagers made short work of them by cracking their wood with their knuckles and puncturing their tyres with their hunting knives. This cost you a total of 900 resources, which you could HAVE SPENT on a dozen mercenaries instead, and rushed his horses. That brings me to my second point. Your opponent here was, Poseidon. A powerful God, no question. Don't let mythology fool you here, Hells_Ravage, Poseidon's powers do not lie at the sea, as one might suspect, but actually in his HORSES. Poseidon gets a discount when training these, so you should be aware of this and TRAIN SPEARMEN OR CAMELRY. You did so, a little bit, but then trained basically every unit your Godess had to offer which made dire holes in your ECONOMIC WALLET as you had to train line upgrades for all of these. It was apparant BY THE END how frustrated you became as you resigned with impunity. I think you still had a practical shot at turning the game AT THIS POINT, but your mindset forced your hand to roll the mouse over that resign button. A beginners mistake, but I hope you can reverse this mindset by HEEDING MY ADVICE and using it in the future. |
