Thanks to macprince for this info.

This is a solution for the installation error that says, "Processor doesn't support advanced Instruction sets". SSE.

"in the next url u can download a tiny solution for enable SSE http://www.geocities.com/uart0/k7som.html
i use that and can install age demo xD.... gl hf"

(Please note: this solution is for the Demo version 1.0. Therefore, it might or might not work for the retail version of the game.)

didnt resolve the sse problem...and that file is a driver for the motherboard ecs, k7v series...
anyone can play aoe3 with the sse error?
i used an older version of cpu-z( cpu-z 3.d) to activate sse instructions on my processor...then i installed the game( the sse error didnt appear). but i cant play, the game enters and ,when it goes to load the primary menu, it get an error and goes to the desktop, sometimes my pc restarts.

Note: i can only start the game if i open the cpu-z 3.0d and activate the sse

any help?
thx

I don't know the details on how to fix the SSE problem -- I just post the solution found by macprince.

by the way, this instruction is for the Demo version, so if you guys have the final version, this instruction might or might not work.

In either case, I suggest that you visit the tech help forum from the official website, and hopefully, the people there could help you:

I'm sorry this is all I can help you with :(
